10 Football Influencers You Should Follow

People watch football for a number of reasons. Some as a way to blow off steam, and some because football is as important to them as oxygen. For others, football betting is the main thing that draws them to the television on game days.

Nowadays though, the game is way more than just what happens on the field. When the final whistle blows and the teams trudge back to the locker rooms, a whole ecosystem of media and reaction awakens.

In this article we’re focusing on some of the biggest names on social media, the ones you won’t find staring down the barrel of a television camera. If, like us, you’re a football fanatic, these are 10 great accounts that you should be following.

10. Flemlo Raps

There are freaks – like ourselves – that watch sports to dissect the tactical battles, but for the majority of people, sport is live drama on the big stage. It’s the battle of two teams with differing narratives and within those teams, there are players that are on their own paths and journeys as well.

Flemlo Raps tends to focus on the latter on his YouTube channel, taking deep dives into the careers of some of the most famous and infamous footballers to have ever graced the field. If you love football for the drama, then this is the account for you.

9. Annie Agar

If you want a more detailed and intricate precis of the weekend’s action, you can tune into Annie’s podcast The Offensive Line which is a great listen. If you’re looking for a light-hearted and funny take on the league and some of the biggest characters in it, then head over to her TikTok channel which highlights the lighter side of the game.

8. That’s Good Sports

Another great light-hearted account to follow. Brandon Perna who hosts this YouTube channel takes a sideways look at all of the latest football news and always takes the opportunity to show his clear and unapologetic bias towards the Denver Broncos. Think fun and engaging videos to watch on a Monday morning when you’re having your breakfast.

7. Katie Feeney

If you’re looking for a behind closed doors peek at an NFL team then Katie Feeney is a content creator you should be following. Working for the Washington Commanders, she takes fans into the inner workings of an NFL team, showing her viewers exactly what game day is like. A good watch for Commanders and non-Commanders fans alike.

(Chiseled Adonis doesn’t just do football content, he’s also famous for his fighting breakdowns and commentary.)

2. Kait Maniscalco

As a football writer who looks like I spent my entire 20s stopping trains with my face, I can categorically confirm that there are not enough “Hot Girls” in the world of football content creation. Kait Maniscalco is on a mission to address that issue with here series “Hot Girls Talk Football and she’s doing an excellent job.

Her takes are better than mine, she’s incredibly funny and she also doesn’t look like she should be marching on Helm’s Deep.

  1. Deestroying

Over 6.3 million people have subscribed to Donald De La Haye’s Youtube channel Deestroying. His content has been credited with boosting the reach of the NFL both here in America, and abroad.

Currently he is a kicker for the San Antonio Brahmas, which at one point looked like a pipe dream when he was controversially banned by the NCAA for ‘profiting off his name’ by creating YouTube videos.

Fortunately that ridiculous decision has been quashed and he is back to not only playing, but producing great content for football fans.
